What does client service mean?

Could write a small book to answer that question. But following is a taste of my client service philosophy.

Exceed expected results. Fair fees… a bargain for the results promised and attained.

Take a genuine interest in not only the client, but the entire family. Consider not only financial and tax goals, but human goals. For example, mom and dad… each child… each grandchild… others that the client loves or wants to take care of in some way (employees/servants).

Hold hands when necessary. But when circumstances require, be tough. (Yes, it’s the client’s plan, but you are responsible for not letting dumb decisionS (that do not meet preset goals) creep into the Plan.

Client service must start and end with a few basics:

  • Return phone calls.
  • Respond quickly to all inquires.
  • Keep confidentiality.
  • Do whatever is necessary—but only legally—to accomplish the client’s goals.
  • Review the Plan on a regular basis.
